🎨 Walnut Street Celebrates International Dot Day! 🎨
Students and teachers at Walnut Street joined millions of people around the world to celebrate International Dot Day, inspired by Peter H. Reynolds’ book The Dot. This special day encourages creativity, courage, and collaboration by reminding us all to “make our mark and see where it takes us.” Students showed their individuality and imagination as they created their own unique dots.
This day is a great reminder that everyone has the power to be creative and to make a difference. At Walnut Street, we’re proud to celebrate our students’ creativity and the courage to see where their creativity takes them with “just a dot.”

💗🤍💙We Remember 9/11 💗🤍💙
At Walnut Street School, our students came together to honor September 11th through reflection and acts of remembrance. From creative projects in the classrooms to collaborative art projects inspired by the stories of 9/11, our students celebrated the courage, unity and spirit of community brought forth by the events of this day in 2001. Red, white and blue filled our hallways as we remembered the lives lost and the heroes who stepped forward.
