Mrs. Aviles, Mrs. Morrison, and Ms. Fowler helped students connect to the Uniondale Public Library to celebrate Juneteenth. The library delivered a Juneteenth basket craft, full of goodies including bubbles, stickers, glowsticks, and snacks. The library also sent a tissue paper craft for the whole class to decorate with the colors red, black, and green. We connected over Zoom to hear stories and complete the crafts. Thanks the the Uniondale Public Library, everyone enjoyed learning about and celebrating Juneteenth!
