Our kindergarten students were treated to a read aloud by Uniondale alumna Shiphrah Blaire. She authored the children's book Mommies Move Mountains and the illustrations were done by her sister, and also former Walnut Street student, Tajiri Bradley. Our students enjoyed interacting with Mrs. Blaire and learning about overcoming obstacles as the characters journeyed to the ocean.
