Our class learned all about the landforms that form planet Earth! We created our own books and then recreated landforms using sweet treats! We labeled all our landforms and then took our creations home to celebrate and eat with our families. Yum!

5th grade scholars learned that symbolism is when an idea, feeling, emotion, or other concept is used to represent something else. Each fifth grade scholar created their own Symbolism Snowflake, in order to show which symbol is meaningful to them in their own life.

Uniondale's middle school and elementary school students have the pleasure of having their artwork displayed at the Long Island Children's Museum for the entire month of December! We are so proud of the artistic excellence displayed here at Walnut as well as on display at the museum for our Long Island community to see!
